So perfect! This is the exact piece I needed to complete my studio desk. It's very sturdy and can carry the weight of an Apple Cinema Display and a pair of studio monitors. As a producer & audio-engineer in need of a custom desk, and unhappy with the small size & quality of the Output Platform type desks, I'm extremely happy that I found Jesse & this custom-sit-stand! It is a veritable work of art as well as a well thought-out & beautifully designed piece. Jesse was amazing to work with to gather customizations & choose a top. I opted for angled cabinets with 4U racks and a keyboard shelf for my 61-key Yamaha workstation. The desk arrived within 10 days from date-of-purchase! So super fast! I had to attach the sit-stand-base (which shipped separately), the cable tray & the paddle to make it go up/down. All that worked on the first try! So there's a little bit of work to set it up, but totally worth it. The sit-stand base is solid black steel & is VERY sturdy. Overall, a hearty 5 stars!!

I love my new desk. When I first saw Jesse’s product description on Etsy, I could tell he would be able to make the ideal desk that I’d been dreaming of for several years. We arranged a visit to the wood shop, where I got a sense for what the final product would be like, as well as the timeline and details like finishes and shelving. I felt reassured that if I had any additional requests after receiving the desk, I could always get an add-on, like special legs for the keyboard drawer. He delivered the final product himself, and assembled it in my studio very quickly. Now I am rearranging the entire studio around the desk, as it’s the most powerful and important piece! 🙂 (Because of this, please excuse my photos.)
